and We saved the Children of Israel from a humiliating punishment 30 from Pharaoh; surely he was a high One, of the prodigals; 31 And We chose them, purposely, above (all) creatures. 32 and sent them revelations of which some were a clear trial for them. 33 These men do say, 34 There is naught but our first death, and we shall not be raised again. 35 “Therefore bring back our forefathers, if you are truthful!” 36 Are these better or the people of Tubba and those who went before them? We destroyed them for they were a criminal people. 37 And We did not create the heavens and earth and that between them in play. 38 We have created them for a genuine purpose, but most people do not know. 39 Surely the day of separation is their appointed term, of all of them 40 the day a master shall avail nothing a client, and they shall not be helped, 41 save him upon whom God has mercy; He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 42
