And assuredly We delivered the Children of Isra'il from an ignominous torment 30 (We delivered them) from Pharaoh. Lo! he was a tyrant of the wanton ones. 31 And certainly We chose them, having knowledge, above the nations. 32 and sent them revelations of which some were a clear trial for them. 33 Even then they say: 34 There is naught but our first death, and we shall not be raised again. 35 Then bring [back] our forefathers, if you should be truthful." 36 Are they better than the people of Tubba, and those who had lived before them, whom We destroyed as they were sinners? 37 And We created not the heavens and the earth, and all that is between them, in play. 38 We created them in nothing else except the truth. But most do not know. 39 The Day of Judgement is your promised day of meeting, 40 the day a master shall avail nothing a client, and they shall not be helped, 41 except those on whom Allah will have mercy. He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 42
