Verily, [in the life to come] the tree of deadly fruit 43 is the food of the guilty, 44 Like molten brass, it seetheth in their bellies 45 like the boiling of burning despair. 46 [A voice will cry], "Seize him and drag him into the midst of Hell. 47 "Then pour over his head the torment of scalding water." 48 Taste this; you who considered yourself the mighty, the honourable! 49 "Truly this is what ye used to doubt!" 50 As to the Righteous (they will be) in a position of Security, 51 amid gardens and springs, 52 Dressed in fine silk and (also) in thick silk, facing each other, 53 Just like that. We shall pair them with companions with large black eyes. 54 They will call therein for every kind of fruit, in peace and security. 55 Nor will they there taste Death, except the first death; and He will preserve them from the Penalty of the Blazing Fire,- 56 an act of thy Sustainer's favour: and that, that will be the triumph supreme! 57 And We have made it easy in thy language; they might haply be admonished. 58 Wait then; they too are waiting. 59
