The food of the Zakkum tree 43 The food of sinners. 44 It will be like molted brass which will boil in the bellies 45 like the boiling of hot water. 46 “Seize him and drag him to the middle of the Blazing Fire, 47 Then pour above his head of the torment of the boiling water: 48 Taste this, you are a person mighty and noble! 49 “Indeed this is what you used to doubt about.” 50 Surely those who guard (against evil) are in a secure place, 51 Amidst gardens and springs. 52 dressed in fine silk and in rich brocade, and they will face each other: 53 Just like that. We shall pair them with companions with large black eyes. 54 They will call therein for every kind of fruit, in peace and security. 55 They shall not taste therein death except the first death, and He will save them from the punishment of the hell, 56 By the beneficence of your Lord. This will be the great success. 57 We have now made it easy on your tongue, in order that they remember. 58 Wait thou then; verily they also are waiting. 59

Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
