Al-Baqarah 5 of 40
O Descendants of Israel (Jacob)! Remember My favour which I bestowed upon you, and fulfil your covenant towards Me, I shall fulfil My covenant towards you; and fear Me alone. 40 And believe in the message I have sent down which fulfils that [predictions about the last prophet in their Scripture] which you already possess and do not be foremost among those who deny its truth. Do not sell My revelations for a paltry price; fear Me alone. 41 And confound not the truth with falsehood, nor hide the truth while ye know. 42 And perform the prayer, and pay the alms, and bow with those that bow. 43 ۞ Would you order righteousness on others and forget it yourselves? Yet you recite the Book, have you no sense? 44 Seek you help in patience and prayer, for grievous it is, save to the humble 45 who are certain of their meeting with their Lord and their return to Him. 46
