The men of the Thicket cried lies to the Envoys 176 Shu'ayb asked them, "Why do you not have fear of God? 177 Surely I am a faithful apostle to you; 178 “Therefore fear Allah and obey me.” 179 "No reward do I ask of you for it (my Message of Islamic Monotheism), my reward is only from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 180 ۞ Fill up the measure, and be not cheaters, 181 "And weigh with scales true and upright. 182 and do not deprive people of what is rightfully theirs; and do not act wickedly on earth by spreading corruption, 183 And fear He who created you and the former creation." 184 They said: thou art but of the bewitched; 185 thou art naught but a mortal, like us; indeed, we think that thou art one of the liars. 186 But in case you are speaking the truth, then make a segment of the sky to fall upon us." 187 He said, "My Lord knows all that you do." 188 But they belied him, so the torment of the day of shadow (a gloomy cloud) seized them, indeed that was the torment of a Great Day. 189 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 190 And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 191
