The tree of al-Zaqqum 43 The food of the sinner! 44 Like murky oil, it boils within bellies 45 As the seething of boiling water. 46 (A voice will cry: "Seize ye him and drag him into the midst of the Blazing Fire! 47 "Then pour over his head the torment of scalding water." 48 "Taste it," (they will be told). "You were indeed the mighty and noble! 49 Surely this is what you disputed about. 50 Indeed, for those who feared (Allah) is a secure place 51 among gardens and fountains, 52 Dressed in brocade and shot silk, facing one another. 53 We shall unite them to maidens with big black and white lovely eyes. 54 While resting in security, they shall call for all kinds of fruit. 55 They will not taste death therein, except the first death; and He will preserve them from the torment of the Flaming Fire. 56 God will protect them from the torment of hell as a favor from your Lord. (Muhammad), this is certainly the greatest triumph. 57 And We have made this Qur’an easy in your language, for them to understand. 58 So be on the watch; they too are on the watch. 59
