The tree of al-Zaqqum 43 shall be the food of the guilty sinners. 44 Like murky oil, it boils within bellies 45 Like the boiling of scalding water. 46 'Take him, and thrust him into the midst of Hell, 47 Then pour boiling water over his head as punishment. 48 (Saying): Taste! Lo! thou wast forsooth the mighty, the noble! 49 This is that which you doubted' 50 The pious ones will be in a secure place 51 In the midst of gardens and of springs, 52 Attired in silk and brocade, they shall be arrayed face to face. 53 Even so. And We shall pair them with fair damsels large-eyed. 54 They will call therein for every kind of fruit, in peace and security. 55 Nor will they there taste Death, except the first death; and He will preserve them from the Penalty of the Blazing Fire,- 56 A bounty from thy Lord. That! that is the supreme achievement. 57 And We have made (this Scripture) easy in thy language only that they may heed. 58 Wait thou then; verily they also are waiting. 59
