God has created the heavens and the earth for a true purpose, so that every soul may be rewarded for whatever it has earned, and no one will be wronged. 22 Have you seen him who takes his own lust (vain desires) as his ilah (god), and Allah knowing (him as such), left him astray, and sealed his hearing and his heart, and put a cover on his sight. Who then will guide him after Allah? Will you not then remember? 23 They say: 'There is nothing except this life, we die and we live, it is only time that destroys us' Surely, of this they have no knowledge, they are just guessing. 24 Whenever Our clear revelations are recited to them, their only argument is to say, "Bring back to us our forefathers, if what you say be true." 25 (Muhammad), say, "It is God who gives you life and causes you to die.
