To God belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth. On the day when the Hour of Doom arrives, the followers of falsehood will be lost. 27 And you will see every nation kneeling [from fear]. Every nation will be called to its record [and told], "Today you will be recompensed for what you used to do. 28 This is Our Record which bears witness against you with truth; We used to record all what you did.” 29 So, those who believed and did good things will be admitted to His favour by their Lord. This will be a clear triumph. 30 As for the infidels, (it will be said): "Were not My messages read out to you? But you behaved with self-conceit, and became a sinful people. 31 And when it was said, "God's promise is true, and the Hour, there is no doubt of it," you said; "We know not what the Hour may be; we have only a surmise, and are by no means certain." 32 And the evils of their deeds appeared to them, and the punishment they used to mock at encompassed them. 33 and it shall be said: 'Today, We will forget you as you yourselves forgot that you would encounter this Day. The Fire shall be your refuge, and none will help you. 34 That is because you took the communications of Allah for a jest and the life of this world deceived you. So on that day they shall not be brought forth from it, nor shall they be granted goodwill. 35 So to God belongs praise, the Lord of the heavens and the Lord of the earth, Lord of all Being. 36 It is His greatness that dominates the heavens and the earth. He is the Majestic and All-wise. 37
