Q (Qaaf)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
Qaaf. By the Glorious Koran! 1 But they wonder that there has come to them a warner from among themselves, and the disbelievers say, "This is an amazing thing. 2 What! when we are dead and have become dust? That is afar (from probable) return. 3 We know indeed what the earth diminishes of them, and with Us is a writing that preserves. 4 Nay, but they cried lies to the truth when it came to them, and so they are in a case confused. 5 Do they not look at the sky above them?- How We have made it and adorned it, and there are no flaws in it? 6 And the earth! We have spread it out, and set thereon mountains standing firm, and have produced therein every kind of lovely growth (plants). 7 A vision and a reminder for every penitent slave. 8 and We have sent down from the sky blessed water with which We have brought forth gardens and grain to be harvested, 9 and tall palmtrees with compact spathes 10 As sustenance for the bondmen; and with it We revived a dead city; this is how you will be raised. 11 And before them the people of Nuh belied, and so did the dwellers of Rass and the Thamud. 12 and so did 'Ad, and Pharaoh and Lot's brethren, 13 And the companions of the thicket and the people of Tubba'. All denied the messengers, so My threat was justly fulfilled. 14 Were We then tired with the first creation? Nay, They are in confused doubt about a new creation (i.e. Resurrection)? 15
