Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Qaf. CONSIDER this sublime Qur'an! 1 Nay, they wonder that there has come to them a warner (Muhammad SAW) from among themselves. So the disbelievers say: "This is a strange thing! 2 Why - [how could we be resurrected] after we have died and become mere dust? Such a return seems far-fetched indeed!" 3 We know what the earth diminishes of them, and with Us is a retaining record. 4 Rather, they belied the truth when it came to them, and now they are in a state of confusion. 5 Have they not then observed the sky above them, how We have constructed it and beautified it, and how there are no rifts therein? 6 And the earth have We spread out, and have flung firm hills therein, and have caused of every lovely kind to grow thereon, 7 To give sight and as a reminder to every servant who turns frequently (to Allah). 8 We have sent blessed water down from the sky to grow gardens, harvestable crops 9 And the tall palm-trees having spadices closely set one above another, 10 As provision for the servants, and We have given life thereby to a dead land. Thus is the resurrection. 11 Before these, the people of Nooh had denied, and so did the dwellers of Rass and the Thamud. 12 And (the tribe of) A'ad, and Pharaoh, and the brethren of Lot, 13 And the Dwellers of the Woods, and the people of Tubb’a; each one of them denied the Noble Messengers, so My promised punishment proved true. 14 Were We then weary with the first Creation, that they should be in confused doubt about a new Creation? 15
