And indeed We have created man, and We know what his ownself whispers to him. And We are nearer to him than his jugular vein (by Our Knowledge). 16 When the two Receivers receive (him), seated on the right hand and on the left, 17 Not a word he uttereth but there is with him a watcher ready. 18 The palsy of death will surely come. This is what you wished to avert. 19 And the Trumpet was blown; “This is the Day of the promised punishment.” 20 And every person will come forth along with an (angel) to drive (him), and an (angel) to bear witness. 21 Certainly you were heedless of it, but now We have removed from you your veil, so your sight today is sharp. 22 His companion attendant will say, "I have here his record ready." 23 Cast ye twain into Hell every person rebellious, contumacious. 24 “The one who excessively prevented from virtue, the transgressor, the doubtful.” 25 "Who set up another ilah (god) with Allah, then (both of you) cast him in the severe torment." 26 ۞ Man's other self' will say: "O our Sustainer! It was not I that led his conscious mind into evil [nay,] but it had gone far astray [of its own accord]! 27 Allah will say: wrangle not in My presence, and I had already proferred unto you the threat. 28 The sentence that cometh from Me cannot be changed, and I am in no wise a tyrant unto the slaves. 29

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
