We have built the heaven with might, and We it is Who make the vast extent (thereof). 47 And the earth We have spread out, and excellent is the preparer. 48 And all things We have created by pairs, that haply ye may reflect. 49 Therefor flee unto Allah; lo! I am a plain warner unto you from him. 50 And do not set up with Allah another god: surely I am a plain warner to you from Him. 51 In the same way no Messenger came to those who lived before them without his people calling him a magician or an insane person. 52 Is this the legacy they have transmitted, one to another? Nay, they are themselves a people transgressing beyond bounds! 53 Therefore turn away from them (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), – so there is no blame upon you. 54 Keep on reminding them. This benefits the believers. 55 And I have not created the jinn and mankind but that they should worship Me. 56 I seek not any provision from them (i.e. provision for themselves or for My creatures) nor do I ask that they should feed Me (i.e. feed themselves or My creatures). 57 God is certainly the great provider, Lord of strength and power. 58 The wrongdoers will meet the same fate as their predecessors, let them not ask Me to hasten on [the punishment], 59 Alas the woe for those who refuse to believe in the Day which has been promised them. 60
