We built the heaven with might, and We widely extended it. 47 And We have spread out the earth, how Excellent Spreader (thereof) are We! 48 And in everything have We created opposites, so that you might bear in mind [that God alone is One]. 49 Hasten ye then (at once) to Allah: I am from Him a Warner to you, clear and open! 50 Do not set up with Allah another god. I am a clear warner to you from Him. 51 Even thus no apostle came to those before them but they said: "He is a sorcerer or a mad man." 52 Have they inherited such dealings with the Prophets from their predecessors or are they a rebellious people? 53 Turn, then, away from them, and thou shalt incur no blame; 54 And continue to remind, for surely the reminder profits the believers. 55 And [tell them that] I have not created the invisible beings and men to any end other than that they may [know and] worship Me. 56 No Sustenance do I require of them, nor do I require that they should feed Me. 57 Surely Allah is the Bestower of sustenance, the Lord of Power, the Strong. 58 And verily, for those who do wrong, there is a portion of torment like to the evil portion of torment (which came for) their likes (of old), so let them not ask Me to hasten on! 59 Woe, then, betide those who disbelieved in that Day of theirs which they are being asked to hold in dread. 60
