With power and skill did We construct the Firmament: for it is We Who create the vastness of pace. 47 And the earth, We have made it a wide extent; how well have We then spread (it) out. 48 And of every thing We have created pairs, that haply ye may remember. 49 Therefore fly to Allah, surely I am a plain warner to you from Him. 50 And make not another an object of worship with Allah: I am from Him a Warner to you, clear and open! 51 Similarly, whenever a Noble Messenger came to those before them they always said, “He is a magician or a madman.” 52 Have they handed this down from one to another? No, rather, they are an insolent nation. 53 Then turn your back upon them for you are not to blame; 54 But teach (thy Message) for teaching benefits the Believers. 55 And I have not created the jinn and mankind but that they should worship Me. 56 I desire of them no provision, neither do I desire that they should feed Me. 57 it is God who is the great Sustainer, the Mighty One, the Invincible. 58 And verily, they who are bent on doing evil shall have their share [of evil] like unto the share of their fellows [of old]: so let them not ask Me to hasten [their doom]! 59 So woe to the unbelievers, for that day of theirs that they are promised. 60
