And the heaven We constructed with strength, and indeed, We are [its] expander. 47 And the earth -- We spread it forth; O excellent Smoothers! 48 And of everything We have created pairs that you may be mindful. 49 So flee to Allah. Indeed, I am to you from Him a clear warner. 50 And do not make [as equal] with Allah another deity. Indeed, I am to you from Him a clear warner. 51 In the same way no Messenger came to those who lived before them without his people calling him a magician or an insane person. 52 Have they, perchance, handed down this [way of thinking] as a legacy unto one another? Nay, they are people filled with overweening arrogance! 53 So turn away from them, you shall not be blamed, 54 yet go on reminding [all who would listen]: for, verily, such a reminder will profit the believers. 55 I have not created the jinns and men but to worship Me. 56 I do not expect to receive any sustenance from them or that they should feed Me. 57 Verily, Allah is the All-Provider, Owner of Power, the Most Strong. 58 And verily, for those who do wrong, there is a portion of torment like to the evil portion of torment (which came for) their likes (of old), so let them not ask Me to hasten on! 59 Woe to the disbelievers when the day with which they have been threatened comes! 60
