The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ Glorify the name of thy Guardian-Lord Most High, 1 Who creates and proportions, 2 And Who hath disposed and then guided, 3 The One Who produced pasture. 4 Then turneth it to russet stubble. 5 WE SHALL teach thee, and thou wilt not forget [aught of what thou art taught,] 6 Save that which Allah willeth. Lo! He knoweth the disclosed and that which still is hidden; 7 And We will make your way smooth to a state of ease. 8 Therefore do remind, surely reminding does profit. 9 He who fears [God] will heed the reminder, 10 But the most hapless will flout it, 11 He who shall roast into the Great Fire, 12 Then therein he shall neither live nor die. 13 He is successful who groweth, 14 and remembers his Sustainer's name, and prays [unto Him]. 15 But no, you prefer the life of the world, 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and everlasting. 17 Verily this is in Writs ancient 18 the revelations of Abraham and Moses. 19
