We have made the heavens with Our own hands and We expanded it. 47 And the earth! We have stretched it forth beneath; an excellent Spreader are We! 48 And of all things We created two mates; perhaps you will remember. 49 Flee therefore unto Allah; verily I am unto you from Him a warner manifest. 50 And do not set up with Allah another god: surely I am a plain warner to you from Him. 51 Similarly, whenever a Noble Messenger came to those before them they always said, “He is a magician or a madman.” 52 Did they suggest it to them? Rather, they [themselves] are a transgressing people. 53 Then turn your back upon them for you are not to blame; 54 And admonish, for verily admonition profiteth the believers. 55 I have not created mankind and jinn except to worship Me. 56 I seek not any provision from them, nor I desire that they should feed Me. 57 For Allah is He Who gives (all) Sustenance,- Lord of Power,- Steadfast (for ever). 58 So verily unto those who do wrong there is a portion like unto the portion of their fellows; wherefore let them not ask Me to hasten on. 59 woe, then, to those who are bent on denying the truth, when the Day arrives which they have been promised. 60
