We built the universe with Our might, giving it its vast expanse. 47 And the earth have We laid out, how gracious is the Spreader (thereof)! 48 We have created everything in pairs so that perhaps you may take heed. 49 Flee, therefore, to Allah. Surely I am a clear warner to you from Him; 50 And set not up another god with Allah; verily I am unto you from Him a warner manifest. 51 Similarly, there came not to those before them any messenger except that they said, "A magician or a madman." 52 Have they inherited such dealings with the Prophets from their predecessors or are they a rebellious people? 53 Therefore turn away from them (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), – so there is no blame upon you. 54 And admonish, for verily admonition profiteth the believers. 55 I created the jinn and humankind only that they might worship Me. 56 I seek no sustenance from them, nor do I want them to feed Me -- 57 For Allah is He Who gives (all) Sustenance,- Lord of Power,- Steadfast (for ever). 58 And verily, for those who do wrong, there is a portion of torment like to the evil portion of torment (which came for) their likes (of old), so let them not ask Me to hasten on! 59 Woe then to the unbelievers for their Day which they were promised! 60
