(Muhammad), remind them, by the Grace of your Lord, that you are neither a soothsayer or an insane person. 29 Or do they say: 'He is a poet, we are waiting for some misfortune to befall him' 30 Say thou: "Await ye!- I too will wait along with you!" 31 Or do their intellects bid them do this? Or are they an insolent people? 32 Do they say: 'He has invented it' No, they do not believe. 33 So let them bring a discourse like it, if they are truthful 34 Or were they created out of nothing? Or are they the creators? 35 Have they created the heavens and the earth? In fact, they have no strong faith. 36 [How could they?] Are thy Sustainer's treasures with them? Or are they in charge [of destiny]? 37 Do they have a ladder (by which they can climb up to the heavens) and listen (to the angels) and come back to the rest of the people with clear authority? 38 Or has He daughters, and they sons? 39 Or do you (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) ask any fee from them, so they are burdened with the penalty? 40 Or that the Ghaib (unseen) is with them, and they write it down? 41 Or do they want to entrap [thee in contradictions]? But they who are bent on denying the truth - it is they who are truly entrapped! 42 Or do they have a god apart from God? He is too exalted for what they associate with Him! 43 Even if they saw lumps falling from the sky they would say: 'A massed cloud' 44 Wherefore let them alone, till they meet their Day whereon they shall swoon. 45 A day on which their scheming will not benefit them at all, nor will they be helped. 46 The unjust will suffer other torments besides this but most of them do not know. 47 So wait patiently (O Muhammad SAW) for the Decision of your Lord, for verily, you are under Our Eyes, and glorify the Praises of your Lord when you get up from sleep. 48 And proclaim His Purity during the night, and when the stars turn back. 49
