Therefore (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), enlighten, for by the munificence of your Lord, you are neither a soothsayer nor a madman. 29 Or do they say: "(Muhammad SAW is) a poet! We await for him some calamity by time! 30 Say: 'Await! I shall be awaiting with you.' 31 Or do their minds command them to [say] this, or are they a transgressing people? 32 Or do they say: "He himself has composed this [message]"? Nay, but they are not willing to believe! 33 Then let them bring an announcement like it if they are truthful. 34 Have they not been created by aught, or are they the creators? 35 Or, did they create the heavens and the earth? No, their belief is not certain! 36 [How could they?] Are thy Sustainer's treasures with them? Or are they in charge [of destiny]? 37 Or have they a ladder whereon they listen? Then let any of them that has listened bring a clear authority. 38 Do the daughters belong to Him and the sons to you? 39 Or do you ask them for a reward, so that they are overburdened by a debt? 40 Or is the hidden with them, by which they pass judgements? 41 Or do they intend a plan? But those who disbelieve - they are the object of a plan. 42 Or have they a deity other than Allah? Exalted is Allah above whatever they associate with Him. 43 Were they to see a piece of the sky falling (on them), they would (only) say: "Clouds gathered in heaps!" 44 Wherefore let them alone, till they meet their Day whereon they shall swoon. 45 and when their evil plans will be of no benefit to them nor will they be helped. 46 For the harmdoers there is indeed, a punishment before that, but most of them do not know. 47 Wait patiently for the command of your Lord. We are watching over you. Glorify your Lord when you rise during the night 48 and also celebrate His praise at night, and at the retreat of the stars. 49
