Therefor warn (men, O Muhammad). By the grace of Allah thou art neither soothsayer nor madman. 29 Or do they say: “He is a poet for whom we await an adverse turn of fortune.” 30 Say: Wait, for surely I too with you am of those who wait. 31 Do their minds command them to do this, or are they an outrageous folk? 32 Do they say, "He has falsely invented it (the Quran)?" In fact, they themselves have no faith. 33 But then, [if they deem it the work of a mere mortal,] let them produce another discourse like it - if what they say be true! 34 Have they been created from nothing or are they themselves their own creators? 35 [And] have they created the heavens and the earth? Nay, but they have no certainty of anything! 36 Or, are the treasures of your Lord in their keeping? Or, are they the controllers? 37 Or have they a ladder whereon they listen? Then let any of them that has listened bring a clear authority. 38 Or hath He daughters whereas ye have sons? 39 Or do you demand any wages from them so that they are burdened with expense? 40 Or is it that they have access to (the Truths in) the realm beyond sense-perception which they are writing down? 41 Or do they intend a plot (against thee)? But those who defy Allah are themselves involved in a Plot! 42 Or have they a god other than Allah? Exalted is Allah far above the things they associate with Him! 43 (So obstinate are they that) even if they were to see some fragments of the sky falling down they would still say: “It is only a mass of cloud.” 44 so leave them alone till they face the Day on which they will be struck dumb, 45 A day on which their scheming will not benefit them at all, nor will they be helped. 46 And verily, for those who do wrong, there is a punishment beyond that. But most of them know not. 47 And be thou patient under the judgment of thy Lord; surely thou art before Our eyes. And proclaim the praise of thy Lord when thou arisest, 48 And for part of the night also praise thou Him,- and at the retreat of the stars! 49
Almighty God's Truth.
