۞ How many an angel there is in the heavens whose intercession avails not anything, save after that God gives leave to whomsoever He wills and is well-pleased. 26 Those who disbelieve in the Everlasting Life call the angels by female names. 27 Yet of this they have no knowledge, they follow mere conjecture, and conjecture does not help against truth. 28 Avoid thou, therefore, those who turn away from all remembrance of Us and care for no more than the life of this world, 29 This is what the extent of their knowledge amounts to. Your Lord knows best who has gone astray from His path and who has been rightly guided. 30 To God belongs whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is in the earth, that He may recompense those who do evil for what they have done, and recompense those who have done good with the reward most fair. 31 Those who keep aloof from the great sins and the indecencies but the passing idea; surely your Lord is liberal in forgiving. He knows you best when He brings you forth from the earth and when you are embryos in the wombs of your mothers; therefore do not attribute purity to your souls; He knows him best who guards (against evil). 32
