(Muhammad), have you ever seen the one who has turned away (from guidance), 33 and gives so little [of himself for the good of his soul,] and so grudgingly? 34 Or, does he possess knowledge of the Unseen, and can therefore see? 35 Nay, is he not acquainted with what is in the Books of Moses- 36 And of Abraham who fulfilled his trust? -- 37 That no bearer of burden shall bear the burden of another- 38 That a man receives but only that for which he strives; 39 That his endeavours will be judged, 40 Then shall he be rewarded for it with the fullest reward- 41 and that the final return is to your Lord, 42 and that He it is Who causes people to laugh and to cry, 43 And that it is He Who gave death and gave life? 44 And that He createth the two spouses, the male and the female, 45 from a drop of sperm when it was emitted, 46 and that [therefore] it is within His power to bring about a second life; 47 that He it is Who bestowed wealth and riches, 48 that He is the Lord of Sirius. 49 that He it is Who destroyed the ancient 'Ad, 50 Thamud, 51 and that He it is Who destroyed the people of Noah before for they were much given to iniquity and transgression. 52 and the Subverted City He also overthrew, 53 and then covered them from sight forever. 54 Then which of the Graces of your Lord (O man!) will you doubt. 55 This is a (Prophet) like that of the ancient warners (Prophets). 56 The (Judgment) ever approaching draws nigh: 57 [although] none but God can unveil it.... 58 Then at this statement do you wonder? 59 and do they laugh instead of weeping, 60 Wasting your time in vanities? 61 But fall ye down in prostration to Allah, and adore (Him)! ۩ 62
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
