Did you (O Muhammad SAW) observe him who turned away (from Islam). 33 and gives so little [of himself for the good of his soul,] and so grudgingly? 34 Does he possess the knowledge of the Unseen, and therefore he sees? 35 Or is he not informed with what is in the Pages (Scripture) of Musa (Moses), 36 And Abraham who paid his debt: 37 That no burdened person (with sins) shall bear the burden (sins) of another. 38 And that man hath only that for which he maketh effort, 39 And that his endeavour shall be presently observed. 40 Then he will be fully repaid for it? 41 And that to your Lord is the finality 42 that it is He who causes to laugh and causes to weep. 43 And He who ordains death and life; 44 And that He creates the two mates - the male and female - 45 From a drop of semen when emitted; 46 and that upon Him rests the second growth, 47 And that He it is Who enriches and gives to hold; 48 and that it is He who is the Lord of Sirius, 49 and that He destroyed Ad, the ancient, 50 And destroyed the tribe of Thamud, not sparing anyone? 51 and before them the people of Noah who were even more unjust and insolent; 52 And that it is He Who threw down the upturned townships? 53 So there covered them that which did cover (i.e. torment with stones). 54 Then which of the gifts of thy Lord, (O man,) wilt thou dispute about? 55 This is a Warner, of the (series of) Warners of old! 56 The Day of Judgment is drawing nearer. 57 none except Allah can disclose it. 58 Marvel ye then at this statement, 59 And laugh and not weep? 60 Will you remain proudly heedless? 61 So prostrate yourselves before Allah and worship. ۩ 62
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
