Seest thou one who turns back, 33 who gave a little, and then stopped? 34 Does he possess the knowledge of the unseen, thus, he sees (all things)? 35 Has he not been informed of what is in the Scrolls of Moses, 36 And [of] Abraham, who fulfilled [his obligations] - 37 Certainly no one will bear the responsibility of the sins of another, 38 and that man shall have nothing but what he has striven for, 39 And that his effort will be seen. 40 and that he shall then be fully recompensed, 41 And that unto thy Lord is the goal. 42 It is He who causes laughter and weeping. 43 And that it is He Who causeth to die and causeth to live. 44 That He did create in pairs,- male and female, 45 from a drop of sperm when it was emitted, 46 and that [therefore] it is within His power to bring about a second life; 47 that He it is Who bestowed wealth and riches, 48 and that it is He alone who sustains the brightest star; 49 And that He did destroy the Ad of old 50 And destroyed the tribe of Thamud, not sparing anyone? 51 And the people of Nuh (Noah) aforetime, verily, they were more unjust and more rebellious and transgressing [in disobeying Allah and His Messenger Nuh (Noah)]. 52 and He overthrew the subverted cities [of Sodom and Gomorrah] 53 So that there covered them that which did cover. 54 On which then of your Lord's signs do you cast doubt? 55 THIS IS a warning like those warnings of old: 56 The Imminent is near at hand; 57 No (soul) but Allah can lay it bare. 58 Then at this statement do you wonder? 59 Or do you laugh, and do you not weep 60 while you make merry? 61 But fall ye down in prostration to Allah, and adore (Him)! ۩ 62
True are the words of God the Almighty.
End of Surah: The Stars (Al-Najm). Sent down in Mecca after Absoluteness (Al-Ikhlaas) before He Frowned ('Abasa)

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
