Seest thou one who turns back, 33 And gave a little, then was grudging? 34 Does he [claim to] have knowledge of something that is beyond the reach of human perception, so that he can see [it clearly]? 35 Nay, is he not acquainted with what is in the Books of Moses- 36 And Abraham who paid his debt: 37 that no bearer of burdens shall be made to bear another's burden; 38 And that man can have nothing but what he does (good or bad). 39 And that his effort is going to be seen - 40 Then he will be recompensed for it with the fullest recompense 41 And that to your Lord is your returning; 42 and that He it is Who causes people to laugh and to cry, 43 And that it is He (Allah) Who causes death and gives life; 44 It is He who has created spouses, male and female, 45 From a seed when lodged (in its place); 46 and that He will bring about the Second Creation; 47 And that it is He who enriches and suffices 48 and that it is He alone who sustains the brightest star; 49 that He it is Who destroyed the ancient 'Ad, 50 and Thamud tribes, 51 And before them, the people of Noah, for that they were (all) most unjust and most insolent transgressors, 52 And Al-Mu'tafikah He destroyed 53 So that they were covered over by what they were covered over. 54 About which of the bounties of your Lord can they persistently dispute? 55 This is a warner of the warners of old. 56 The Hour that was to come draws ever nearer. 57 None except Allah can avert it. 58 Will you, then, wonder at this? 59 Why do you laugh rather than weep? 60 while you are thoughtless? 61 Prostrate yourselves before Allah, and serve Him. ۩ 62
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
