Al-Najm 3 of 3
Seest thou one who turns back, 33 Who gives but little, and is niggardly? 34 Does he have knowledge of the unseen, so he sees? 35 Or, has he not been told of that which is in the Scrolls of Moses 36 And of Abraham who fulfilled his engagements?- 37 That no one who carries a burden bears another's load; 38 That a man receives but only that for which he strives; 39 That his endeavours will be judged, 40 Then shall he be rewarded for it with the fullest reward- 41 That to thy Lord is the final Goal; 42 that it is He who brings laughter and tears; 43 and that He it is Who causes death and grants life, 44 And that it is He Who has created the two pairs, male and female? 45 out of a [mere] drop of sperm as it is poured forth, 46 And that [incumbent] upon Him is the next creation 47 and that it is He who gives riches and causes to hoard, 48 And that He only is the Lord of the star Sirius? 49 that He it is Who destroyed the ancient 'Ad, 50 and Thamud, leaving no trace [of them,] 51 Like the people of Noah before them, who were surely oppressors and rebellious; 52 and He overthrew the subverted cities [of Sodom and Gomorrah] 53 and caused them to be covered with that which He covered them with. 54 On which then of your Lord's signs do you cast doubt? 55 This is a warner of the warners of old. 56 The near event draws nigh. 57 There is no one to unveil it apart from God. 58 At this discourse then marvel ye? 59 Will you laugh at it rather than weep? 60 and divert yourselves all the while? 61 So prostrate to Allah and worship [Him]. ۩ 62
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
