Have you seen the one who turned away 33 And gave little, and then stopped? 34 Is with him knowledge of the unseen so that he seeth? 35 Did not the news reach him, of that which is mentioned in the Books of Moosa? 36 And of Ibrahim (Abraham) who fulfilled (or conveyed) all that (what Allah ordered him to do or convey), 37 that no bearer of burdens shall be made to bear another's burden; 38 And that man shall have nothing but what he strives for- 39 And that his effort will soon be scrutinised? 40 then he shall be recompensed for it with the fullest recompense, 41 To your Lord will all things eventually return. 42 That it is He who makes you happy and morose, 43 and that He it is Who causes death and grants life, 44 And that He (Allah) creates the pairs, male and female, 45 from an ejaculated drop (of sperm), 46 And that [incumbent] upon Him is the next creation 47 And that it is He (Allah) Who gives much or a little (or gives wealth and contentment), 48 And that it is He Who is the Lord of Sirius. 49 And that He destroyed the former (tribe of) A'ad, 50 And destroyed the tribe of Thamud, not sparing anyone? 51 And the people of Nuh before; surely they were most unjust and inordinate; 52 He plunged the villages 53 So they were covered with whatever covered them? 54 So O listener! Which favour of your Lord will you doubt? 55 This (Muhammad SAW) is a warner (Messenger) of the (series of) warners (Messengers) of old. 56 The Imminent is imminent; 57 None besides Allah can avert it, (or advance it, or delay it). 58 Do you then wonder at this recital (the Quran)? 59 And laugh and not weep? 60 And ye are behaving proudly. 61 Prostrate yourselves before Allah, and serve Him. ۩ 62
