Al-Najm 3 of 3
Have you seen him who turns his back, 33 And gave a little, then was grudging? 34 Does he possess the knowledge of the unseen, thus, he sees (all things)? 35 Did not the news reach him, of that which is mentioned in the Books of Moosa? 36 and of Abraham, who to his trust was true: 37 That no soul laden bears the load of another, 38 and that everyone shall have in his account only that which he worked for, 39 And that his striving shall soon be seen- 40 and in the end he will be repaid for it in full; 41 And that to your Lord is the goal- 42 and that He it is Who causes people to laugh and to cry, 43 And that it is He Who gave death and gave life? 44 And that He created pairs, the male and the female 45 From a drop of semen when emitted; 46 and that upon Him is the second creation 47 It is He who grants people temporary and durable wealth. 48 that He is the Lord of Sirius. 49 And that it is He Who destroyed the (powerful) ancient 'Ad (people), 50 and Thamud, leaving no trace of them, 51 And also the people of Nuh aforetime. Verily they were even greater wrong-doers and more contumacious. 52 And He destroyed the Overthrown Cities (of Sodom and Gomorrah). 53 So that there covered them that which did cover. 54 So, which of your Lord's bounties will you doubt?” 55 This is a Warner, of the (series of) Warners of old! 56 The Approaching Day has approached. 57 none except Allah can disclose it. 58 Do ye then wonder at this recital? 59 Or do you laugh, and do you not weep 60 while you make merry? 61 [Nay,] but prostrate yourselves before God, and worship [Him alone]! ۩ 62

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
