The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

WHEN THE EARTH quakes with her [last] mighty quaking, 1 and it throws out its burden, 2 And man says: What has befallen her? 3 That day it will narrate its annals, 4 Because your Lord has commanded it. 5 On that Day mankind will proceed in bands, that they may be shewn their works. 6 whoever has done the smallest particle of good will see it; 7 And whosoever hath worked ill of an atom's weight shall behold it. 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
