Have you then seen him who turns his back? 33 And he gave a little, then refrained? 34 Has he the knowledge of the unseen so that he can see? 35 Did not the news reach him, of that which is mentioned in the Books of Moosa? 36 and of Abraham, who lived up to the trust? 37 That no burdened person (with sins) shall bear the burden (sins) of another. 38 and that man shall have only that for which he strives; 39 That (the fruit of) his striving will soon come in sight: 40 Then he will be recompensed with a full and the best recompense. 41 And that to your Lord (Allah) is the End (Return of everything). 42 And that He it is who maketh laugh, and maketh weep, 43 That it is He Who granteth Death and Life; 44 That He did create in pairs,- male and female, 45 From a seed when lodged (in its place); 46 And that upon Him is another bringing forth. 47 And that it is He (Allah) Who gives much or a little (or gives wealth and contentment), 48 That He is the Lord of Sirius (the Mighty Star); 49 And that He destroyed the former 'A-ad. 50 And the Thamud nor gave them a lease of perpetual life. 51 and before them the nation of Noah, they exceeded in evil and were insolent. 52 just as He thrust into perdition those cities that were overthrown 53 so that there came upon them that which came. 54 So which then of your Lord's favors do you dispute? 55 This is a warner of the warners of old. 56 What is to come is imminent. 57 None beside Allah can disclose it. 58 Do ye then wonder at this recital? 59 And keep laughing and do not weep, 60 while you are thoughtless? 61 Rather, prostrate to Allah and worship Him. ۩ 62
