The Moon (Al-Qamar)
55 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Comet (Al-Taareq) before S (Saad)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
The Hour of Resurrection drew near and the moon split asunder. 1 But if they see a sign they turn away, and say: "This is the same old lie continuing," 2 They also gave the lie to (the splitting asunder of the moon) and only followed their desires. Yet everything is destined to reach an end. 3 Surely there came to them narratives (of the ancient nations) that should suffice to deter (them from transgression), 4 profound in wisdom, but all warnings have been of no avail: 5 So (O Muhammad SAW) withdraw from them. The Day that the caller will call (them) to a terrible thing. 6 they will come forth from their graves, with their eyes downcast, [swarming about] like locusts scattered [by the wind,] 7 Hastening toward the summoner. The infidels will say: this is a day diffrcult. 8 ۞ There belied before them the people of Nuh. So they belied Our bondman and said: a madman; and moreover he was reproven. 9 Thereupon he prayed unto his Lord: verily am overcome, so vindicate me. 10 We opened the Gates of Heaven with torrential water 11 and made the earth to gush with fountains, and the waters met for a matter decreed. 12 And We bore him upon a well-planked vessel well-caulked 13 Sailing in front of Our sight; as a reward for the sake of one who was rejected. 14 We have left this as a sign: but will anyone take heed? 15 How then were My punishment and My warnings! 16 Now We have made the Koran easy for Remembrance. Is there any that will remember? 17 (The tribe of) A'ad rejected warnings. Then how (dreadful) was My punishment after My warnings. 18 Behold, We let loose upon them a raging storm wind on a day of bitter misfortune: 19 Carrying men away as though they were trunks of palm-trees uprooted. 20 How then were My punishment and My warnings! 21 Easy have We made the Qur'an to understand: So is there any one who will pay heed? 22

Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
