The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the Glorious Morning Light, 1 and the night when it grows still and dark. 2 (O Prophet), your Lord has neither forsaken you, nor is He displeased. 3 The Last shall be better for you than the First. 4 soon you will be gratified with what your Lord will give you. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give [you] refuge? 6 And found you deeply engrossed in His love, so directed you? 7 Did He not find you poor and enrich you? 8 Therefore, be not harsh with the orphan; 9 And repulse not the beggar; 10 And abundantly proclaim the favours of your Lord. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
