And indeed, warnings came to the people of Fir'aun (Pharaoh) [through Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)]. 41 Who denied Our revelations, every one. Therefore We grasped them with the grasp of the Mighty, the Powerful. 42 Are your unbelievers (of Makkah) any better than they? Or have you been granted any immunity in the Scriptures? 43 Or do they say: "We are a group united, [and therefore] bound to prevail"? 44 The army will be routed and put to flight. 45 But the Hour is their appointment [for due punishment], and the Hour is more disastrous and more bitter. 46 Surely the guilty are in error and distress. 47 On the Day when they are dragged on their faces into the Fire, (it will be said to them): 'Taste the touch of the Scorching' 48 Verily, all things have We created in proportion and measure. 49 Our command consists of only one Word which is carried out in the twinkling of an eye. 50 And (oft) in the past, have We destroyed gangs like unto you: then is there any that will receive admonition? 51 All things they do are (recorded) in the books; 52 every action, small or great, is noted down. 53 Surely those who fear God and follow the straight path will be amidst gardens and light, 54 where they will be honourably seated in the presence of a King, Mighty in Power. 55
God the Almighty always says the truth.
