Surely warners came to the people of Pharaoh. 41 Who denied Our revelations, every one. Therefore We grasped them with the grasp of the Mighty, the Powerful. 42 Are you disbelievers mightier than those of the nations which We destroyed before or have you received amnesty through the ancient Scriptures? 43 Or do they say, "We are an assembly supporting [each other]"? 44 Certainly the host shall be routed, and turn their backs. 45 Indeed, the Hour of Doom is their appointed time, and the Last Hour will be the most severe, and the most bitter. 46 Indeed the wrongdoers are in error and a raging fire. 47 The Day they will be dragged through the Fire on their faces, (they will hear:) "Taste ye the touch of Hell!" 48 BEHOLD, everything have We created in due measure and proportion; 49 And Our commandment is but one (commandment), as the twinkling of an eye. 50 And (oft) in the past, have We destroyed gangs like unto you: then is there any that will receive admonition? 51 And everything they did is in written records. 52 And every small and great thing is recorded. 53 Indeed the pious are amidst Gardens and springs. 54 Seated in an assembly of the Truth, in the presence of Allah, the Omnipotent King. 55
