And warnings came in truth unto the house of Pharaoh 41 They rejected all Our communications, so We overtook them after the manner of a Mighty, Powerful One. 42 Are your disbelievers better than those [former ones], or have you immunity in the scripture? 43 Or do they say: "We acting together can defend ourselves"? 44 Certainly the host shall be routed, and turn their backs. 45 Nay, but the Hour is their tryst, and the Hour is very calamitous and bitter. 46 Indeed, the criminals are in error and madness. 47 On the day when they are dragged upon their faces in the fire – “Taste the heat of hell.” 48 Verily everything! We have created it by a measure. 49 And Our Commandment is but one, as the twinkling of an eye. 50 And We have indeed destroyed your kind, so is there one who would ponder? 51 And all what they did is in the Books. 52 Every small or great deed is written down. 53 Verily, The Muttaqun (pious), will be in the midst of Gardens and Rivers (Paradise). 54 in a sure abode, in the presence of a King Omnipotent. 55
