The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman)
78 verses, revealed in Medina after Thunder (Al-Ra'ad) before The Human (Al-Insan)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ Allah, the Most Gracious 1 has taught the Qur'an, 2 He has created man: 3 and has taught him articulate speech. 4 The sun and the moon follow a reckoning. 5 The stars and the trees prostrate. 6 And the Firmament has He raised high, and He has set up the Balance (of Justice), 7 That ye exceed not the measure, 8 Give just weight and do not skimp the scales. 9 And He has set up the earth for all beings. 10 Therein are fruit and palm-trees with their dates in sheaths, 11 Husked grain and scented herb. 12 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 13 He has created man, from dry ringing clay, like the potter"s, 14 and He created the jinn of a smokeless fire. 15 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 16 (He is) Lord of the two Easts and Lord of the two Wests: 17 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 18 He has let forth the two seas, they meet together, 19 and yet there is a barrier between them which they may not overstep. 20 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 21 From the two oceans comes pearls and coral. 22 Which of the wonders of your Lord's power will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 23 His are the ships displayed upon the sea, like banners. 24 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? 25

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
