(And remember) when Allah said: O Jesus! Lo! I am gathering thee and causing thee to ascend unto Me, and am cleansing thee of those who disbelieve and am setting those who follow thee above those who disbelieve until the Day of Resurrection. Then unto Me ye will (all) return, and I shall judge between you as to that wherein ye used to differ. 55 As for the unbelievers, I will chastise them with a terrible chastisement in this world and the next; they shall have no helpers.' 56 And as for those who believe and do good works, He will pay them their wages in full. Allah loveth not wrong-doers. 57 These are some verses that We recite to you, and advice full of wisdom. 58 For God the likeness of Jesus is as that of Adam whom He fashioned out of dust and said "Be" and he was. 59 This is the truth from your Lord, so do not be among the doubters. 60 Wherefore those who contend with thee therein after that which hath come unto thee of the knowledge - say thou: come! let us call our sons and your sons, and our women and your women, and ourselves and yourselves, then let us humbly pray, and invoke the curse of Allah upon the liars. 61 Verily this! it is the true recital; and God there is none save Allah, and verily Allah! He is the Mighty, the Wise. 62 And if they turn their backs, truly Allah knows those who cause mischief. 63
