▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
There are two gardens for one who fears standing before his Lord. 46 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 47 [There will be two gardens with] spreading branches. 48 Which of your Lord's favours will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 49 In both of them are two fountains flowing. 50 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 51 In both of them there will be every kind of fruits in pairs. -- 52 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 53 [They are] reclining on beds whose linings are of silk brocade, and the fruit of the two gardens is hanging low. 54 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 55 In these [gardens] will be mates of modest gaze, whom neither man nor invisible being will have touched ere then. 56 Which of your Lord's favours will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 57 [When you are promised splendours] as though [of] rubies and [of] pearls 58 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 59 Shall the recompense of kindness be aught save kindness? 60 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 61 Besides this, there will be two other gardens. 62 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 63 Dark green [in color]. 64 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 65 therein two fountains of gushing water -- 66 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 67 therein fruits, and palm-trees, and pomegranates -- 68 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 69 In them are goodly things, beautiful ones. 70 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? -- 71 Houris cloistered in pavilions -- 72 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? -- 73 Untouched before them by man or jinni - 74 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 75 [In such a paradise will they dwell,] reclining upon meadows green and carpets rich in beauty. 76 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 77 Blest be the name of thine Lord, Owner Of Majesty and Beneficence! 78

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
