▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
But for him who [the true believer of Islamic Monotheism who performs all the duties ordained by Allah and His Messenger Muhammad SAW, and keeps away (abstain) from all kinds of sin and evil deeds prohibited in Islam and] fears the standing before his Lord, there will be two Gardens (i.e. in Paradise). 46 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 47 [There will be two gardens with] spreading branches. 48 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 49 In them (each) will be two Springs flowing (free); 50 Which of your Lord's favours will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 51 In which are fruits of all kinds, each of two varieties. 52 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 53 They shall recline on couches lined with brocade, and within reach shall hang the fruits of the two Gardens. 54 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 55 Therein are maidens who restrain their glances, whom neither human nor jinn have touched before. 56 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 57 [There will be] maidens as fair as corals and rubies. 58 Which of the favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? 59 Could the reward of good be aught but good? 60 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 61 And below them both [in excellence] are two [other] gardens - 62 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 63 Of darkest verdant green -- 64 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 65 In the Gardens are two springs, overflowing with abundance. 66 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 67 With fruits in them, and dates and pomegranates -- 68 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 69 In them good and comely maidens -- 70 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 71 They are houris (maidens of Paradise), hidden from view, in pavilions. 72 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 73 Whom no man or jinn yatmithhunna (has opened their hymens with sexual intercourse) before them. 74 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 75 Reclining on green cushions and fine carpets. 76 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 77 Blessed is the Name of your Lord, the Lord of Glory and Grace. 78
True are the words of God the Almighty.
