▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
And for one who fears to stand before his Lord, are two Gardens. 46 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 47 (Gardens) with many branches. 48 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 49 In each of the two Gardens are two flowing springs. 50 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors would you then deny? 51 In both of them there will be every kind of fruits in pairs. -- 52 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 53 [In such a paradise the blest will dwell,] reclining upon carpets lined with rich brocade; and the fruit of both these gardens will be within easy reach. 54 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 55 In these [gardens] will be mates of modest gaze, whom neither man nor invisible being will have touched ere then. 56 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 57 [When you are promised splendours] as though [of] rubies and [of] pearls 58 which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 59 Can the reward of goodness be any other than goodness? 60 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 61 And below them both [in excellence] are two [other] gardens - 62 Which of the favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 63 Two Gardens, dark green and fresh. 64 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 65 In [each of] these two [gardens] will two springs gush forth. 66 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 67 In both of them there will be fruit trees and date-palms and pomegranates. 68 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 69 In them are good and beautiful women - 70 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 71 Fair ones reserved in pavilions - 72 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? - 73 No man or jinn ever touched them before. 74 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 75 Reclining upon cushions green and carpets beauteous. 76 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 77 Blessed be the name of thy Lord, full of Majesty, Bounty and Honour. 78

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
