▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
BUT FOR THOSE who of their Sustainer's Presence stand in fear, two gardens [of paradise are readied] 46 Which of your Lord's favours will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 47 Having in them various kinds. 48 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 49 In the two gardens there will be two flowing springs. 50 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 51 In them (both) will be every kind of fruit in pairs. 52 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 53 Reclining upon couches lined with silk brocade, the fruit of both the gardens near to hand. 54 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 55 Therein shall be those of refraining looks whom before them hath deflowered neither man nor jinn. 56 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 57 Lovely as rubies and pearls. 58 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 59 Can any thing else be a response to a favor but a favor? 60 Which of the laudable attributes of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 61 And besides those two will be yet two [other] gardens 62 Which of the favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 63 Densely covered with foliage, appearing dark. 64 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 65 therein two fountains of gushing water -- 66 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 67 In both of them there will be fruit trees and date-palms and pomegranates. 68 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 69 In them are goodly things, beautiful ones. 70 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 71 Fair ones reserved in pavilions - 72 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 73 untouched before them by any man or jinn -- 74 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 75 Reclining on green cushions and beautiful carpets. 76 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 77 Blessed is the Name of your Lord, the Lord of Glory and Grace. 78
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
