The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ When the event befalleth - 1 there is no denying its coming 2 The event will be abasing some, and exalting some. 3 When the earth is shaken with a shock 4 and the mountains are shattered into [countless] shards, 5 So that they shall be as scattered dust. 6 And you become [of] three kinds: 7 The People on the Right: and how fortunate will be the People on the Right! 8 Companions of the Left, what are the Companions of the Left? 9 But the foremost shall be [they who in life were] the foremost [in faith and good works]: 10 It is they who are the close ones. 11 in the beautiful Paradise. 12 Many of them will be from the ancient people 13 And a few of the later peoples, 14 On couches wrought of gold, 15 Reclining on them, facing each other. 16 Round about them shall go youths never altering in age, 17 With vessels, pitchers and a cup [of wine] from a flowing spring - 18 Their heads shall not ache with it, nor shall they lose their senses. 19 And fruit; that they may choose. 20 Bird meats that they relish, 21 and fair maidens with large, lustrous eyes 22 Like pearls within their shells, 23 a recompense for all that they did. 24 There they shall hear no idle talk, no cause of sin, 25 Except the saying, “Peace, peace.” 26 The Companions of the Right 27 They shall be in the midst of thornless lote trees, 28 And acacia covered with heaps of bloom, 29 In shade long-extended, 30 and flowing water, 31 And fruit abundant. 32 That will neither finish, nor ever be stopped. 33 And on Thrones (of Dignity), raised high. 34 for, behold, We shall have brought them into being in a life renewed, 35 And made them virgins, 36 Loving (their husbands only), equal in age. 37 like of age for the Companions of the Right. 38

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
