The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ When the Event (the resurrection) comes 1 There is, at its occurrence, no denial. 2 (it will) abase (some) and exalt (others). 3 When the earth is violently shaken 4 And the mountains are crumbled, crumbled. 5 and become like scattered dust particles, 6 And you (all) will be in three kinds (i.e. separate groups). 7 (First) those on the right hand; what of those on the right hand? 8 And (as to) the companions of the left hand; how wretched are the companions of the left hand! 9 The foremost ones (in faith and virtue) - the foremost ones in receiving their reward. 10 These are they who are drawn nigh (to Allah), 11 in the Gardens of Delight, 12 A number of the earlier peoples, 13 And a few from the latter. 14 On couches in wrought with gold. 15 Reclining thereon, face to face. 16 Round about them will (serve) youths of perpetual (freshness), 17 With goblets and ewers and a cup of pure drink; 18 No headache will they have therefrom, nor will they be intoxicated - 19 And fruits such as they choose, 20 and such flesh of fowl as they desire, 21 And wide eyed houris 22 like pearls preserved in their shells, 23 shall be their recompense for their deeds. 24 Therein they shall hear no idle talk, no cause of sin, 25 Except the saying, “Peace, peace.” 26 And those on the Right Hand, Who will be those on the Right Hand? 27 They shall recline on high amidst lote trees without thorns 28 Among Talh trees with flowers (or fruits) piled one above another,- 29 and spreading shade 30 And water gushing, 31 And fruits numberless, 32 never-ending and unrestricted, 33 And carpets raised. 34 and their spouses We shall have brought them into being afresh, 35 and shall have made them virgins, 36 The beloved of their husbands, of one age. 37 For the Companions of the Right Hand. 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
