A numerous company from among the first, 39 And a numerous company from among the last. 40 BUT AS FOR those who have persevered in evil - what of those who have persevered in evil? 41 In hot wind and boiling water, 42 and a shade of thick, pitch-black smoke, 43 (That shadow) neither cool, nor (even) good, 44 For, behold, in times gone by they were wont to abandon themselves wholly to the pursuit of pleasures, 45 and persisted in heinous sins. 46 and constantly said: 'What, when we are dead and become dust and bones, shall we then be restored to life? 47 (We) and our fore-fathers of yore?” 48 Tell them, (O Prophet): “The earlier ones and the later ones 49 Will be gathered together on a certain day which is predetermined. 50 Then you, the erring and the deniers, 51 Ye verily will eat of a tree called Zaqqum 52 filling your bellies, with it 53 and drink boiling water on top of that, 54 "So you will drink (that) like thirsty camels!" 55 Such will be their welcome on Judgment Day! 56 WE who have created you, [O men:] why, then, do you not accept the truth? 57 Have you thought about what (sperm) you ejaculate? 58 Do you make a human out of it, or is it We Who create? 59 It is We Who ordained death upon you and We are not to be frustrated. 60 Had We so wished, nothing could have hindered Us from replacing you by others like yourselves, or transforming you into beings you know nothing about. 61 And [since] you are indeed aware of the [miracle of your] coming into being in the first instance - why, then, do you not bethink yourselves [of Us]? 62 Just ponder over what you sow: 63 Do you make it grow or is it We who make it grow? 64 We could turn it, if We pleased, into straw; then you would rue the day, 65 'We are debt-loaded; 66 nay; we have been undone!” 67 Have you ever considered the water which you drink? 68 Do you send it down from the clouds, or We send it down? 69 [It comes down sweet - but] were it Our will, We could make it burningly salty and bitter: why, then, do you not give thanks [unto Us]? 70 Did you consider the fire which you kindle? 71 Is it you that originated its tree, or are We the Originator? 72 We Ourselves made it for a reminder, and a boon to the desert-dwellers. 73 Then celebrate with praises the name of thy Lord, the Supreme! 74

Click or tap on "random" to go to any random page. Click or tap the triangle to the left of "random" to go to a random page before the current page, or the triangle to the right to go to a random page after the current page. Using these features of ColorfulQuran.com, you can use the right triangle or arrowhead to skim through the entire Holy Book from the first Surah, The Key (Al-Fatihah), to the last, The People (An-Nas), in a few minutes while stopping at random pages in between.
