▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ Nay, I swear by the setting of the stars -- 75 and that is a mighty oath, if you but knew 76 This is indeed the noble Qur’an. 77 In Book well-guarded, 78 Which none toucheth save the purified, 79 It has been revealed by the Lord of all the worlds. 80 How can you regard this discourse with disdain? 81 You live by calling it a lie. 82 Why, then, when the soul leaps up to the throat, 83 the while you are [helplessly] looking on 84 We are nearer to him than you, but you do not see 85 why, then, if [you think that] you are not truly dependent [on Us,] 86 That you bring it back, if you are truthful? 87 Then, if he be of those brought nigh the Throne, 88 there shall be repose and ease, and a Garden of Delight; 89 And if he be of the fellows on the right hand, 90 Then (the greeting) "Peace be unto thee" from those on the right hand. 91 But if he was of the deniers [who were] astray, 92 there shall be a hospitality of boiling water 93 And roasting in a Blaze. 94 Indeed, this is the true certainty, 95 So celebrate with praises the name of thy Lord, the Supreme. 96

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
