۞ Nay, I swear by the setting of the stars -- 75 (and that is indeed a mighty oath, did you but know it) 76 that this indeed is a noble Qur'an, 77 In Book well-guarded, 78 Which none can touch except the purified. 79 It is a revelation sent down from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Is it this discourse that ye hold lightly? 81 And have ye made it your livelihood that ye should declare it false? 82 Then how is it that when the (dying) breath is withdrawn into the throat (and rattles), 83 And ye are then looking on. 84 And We are nearer to him than you are, but you cannot see. 85 Then why do ye not,- If you are exempt from (future) account,- 86 do you not restore his soul, if you are truthful? 87 Then, if he is one of the honoured, 88 Then is relief, and flowers – and Gardens of peace. 89 And if he be of the Companions of the Right Hand, 90 'Peace be upon thee, Companion of the Right!' 91 But if he be of them that cried lies, and went astray, 92 He shall have an entertainment of boiling water, 93 and the heat of hell fire. 94 Verily this! this is the very truth. 95 So exalt the Name of your Lord, the Great. 96
