۞ No! I swear by the fallings of the stars 75 and this is indeed a mighty oath, if only you knew – 76 This is indeed the noble Qur’an. 77 preserved in a hidden Book which 78 Which (that Book with Allah) none can touch but the purified (i.e. the angels). 79 a sending down from the Lord of all the Worlds. 80 How can you regard this discourse with disdain? 81 Do you make its denial your means of livelihood? 82 Then why do you not (intervene) when (the soul of a dying person) reaches the throat? 83 And ye the while (sit) looking on,- 84 and We are nearer to him than you, although you cannot see Us -- 85 Then why do you not, if you are not to be recompensed, 86 can you not cause that [ebbing life] to return - if what you claim is true? 87 Then if the dying one is of those having proximity, – 88 There will be peace and plenty, and gardens of tranquility for him. 89 and if he is of those who are on the Right, 90 Then (the greeting) "Peace be unto thee" from those on the right hand. 91 And if he is one of those who give the lie (to this Message) and go astray, 92 Then the welcome will be boiling water 93 And the roasting in Hell. 94 This is the absolute Truth and certainty. 95 So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great. 96
